1899 First successful ascent of Piz Corvatsch on skis by Philip Mark and Claudio Saratz
Dezember 1902 The Federal Convention of the Swiss Confederation gives the concession for a cable railway from St. Moritz-Bad to Hahnensee
1963 One cable car and two ski lifts at Corvatsch open up the northern slopes of St. Moritz towards the region of Sils
23 March 1963 Opening of the first section and of the ski lift Murtèl (23 december)
