The three cable cars are all in the Upper Engadin, located around the famous Bernina massif with the 4049 m high Piz Bernina at its heart – the only 4000 m peak in the Eastern Alps. On the eastern side of the Piz Bernina towers the mighty Corvatsch, while the gentler Diavolezza and Lagalb, the sports fans' favourite, are to the east.
The villages of Sils, Silvaplana, St. Moritz and Pontresina are part of this fairy-tale mountain scenery, along with the Bernina Pass. Whether it's winter or summer, whether you are in search of action, fine food or relaxation – at the three mountains of Corvatsch, Diavolezza and Lagalb, everyone will find what they are looking for. The cable cars run for 365 days a year, for seven months in the winter for skiers and then for five months in the summer – offering breath taking views of the Piz Bernina from different perspectives. 14 mountain restaurants in winter and 6 mountain restaurants in summer are waiting to treat you as well.
We live "fabulous" – with all our services and offers and with our business culture. For our guest’s, business partner’s and collaborator’s sake.
Welcome to the fairy-tale mountain scenery!
2015 Corvatsch AG opened "Mandra", a new chairlift which transports you from the snow park to the middle station Murtèl.
In 2016 we opened another brand-new chair lift. The "Curtinella" chairlift connects the two mountains Silvaplana-Corvatsch and Sils-Furtschellas.
Corvatsch AG and Diavolezza Lagalb AG have been sorting the waste produced by their catering and cable-car operations for years. Now they are also going to start collecting all plastic waste. This additional service will encourage all employees to become greener!
The plastic will subsequently go through a special process to turn it into plastic granules. Reusing it in this way saves precious oil, because it only takes half as much energy to make recycled plastic as it does to produce new plastic, so overall it can save up to three litres of crude oil per kilogram of plastic.
Collecting plastic perfectly complements existing separate collections of recyclables in Switzerland. You can find more information about plastics recycling at sammelsack.ch
