The Cristins button lift is right next to Snowli’s kids world at the Swiss Ski School Corvatsch-Pontresina in Surlej, just a few minutes' walk from the car-park for the Corvatsch cable car. The Cristins button lift is ideal for practising on, before venturing into the main skiing area. Anyone who is still lacking confidence on their skis can book a lesson with an instructor when they arrive. What's more, between Snowli’s kids world and the Cristins ski lift, there's a snow sculpture that children will get really excited about. While the ski stars of tomorrow race around on and beside the piste, their parents can enjoy some peace and quiet over coffee and cakes at the bottom of the lift. Ham and cheese on toast and a range of other snacks and sweet treats are available if anyone is feeling peckish.
Are you looking for relaxation and good food? Do you like to make your tracks in the snow in peace and quiet away from the crowded slopes? Then Furtschellas is the place for you. The part of the skiing area called Furtschellas, which is linked to Corvatsch 3303 by the Curtinella 6-person chair lift, is well-known for its varied slopes far away from the rush and the crowd, and also for the wide range of culinary offerings in traditional mountain inns. The Ustaria Rabigusa is an absolute must for lovers of Italian food and a favourite spot for sun worshippers because of its spacious, sheltered terrace. The La Chüdera restaurant offers a range of regional and exotic specialities. The delicious creations are best enjoyed on the huge panoramic terrace.
Corvatsch has a new attraction. The Fun Ride provides an extra helping of action for everybody who needs a variety to perfectly groomed slopes or wants to get in touch with the world of freestyle. The name says it all! The Fun Ride is about 500 meters long and shod with waves, banks, small kickers and tables. It is located on the left-hand side of the Corvatsch Park near the Mandra chairlift.
