The Corvatsch can fly! Edelweiss planes are named after places where the Edelweiss, the queen of alpine flowers, is found. An Edelweiss Airbus320 has therefore been named Corvatsch and carries the Upper Engadin to the sunniest places in the world.
Just a short way up from the Furtschellas middle station is the Edelweiss bench, designed to look like a row of aircraft seats, and offering breathtaking bird's eye views.
Breathtaking panoramic views of the Bernina range and the lakes of the Upper Engadin valley.

The Swiss Orienteering Week (SOW) that was organised in the Upper Engadin in July 2016 was a big success from the point of view of both sport and tourism. About 3000 runners spent a wonderful week in the Engadin. Various training areas were available before and after the SOW and new orienteering maps were created for Furtschellas, Corvatsch, Corviglia and Muottas Muragl, with a permanent network of control points. People made very good use of the service - not least because of the ease of access provided by the cable cars. In partnership with CO Engiadina, we are offering this service for locals and visitors again in summer 2020.
