Festa del Boccalino
Celebrate with us the highest Ticino party: the "Festa del Boccalino" at the mountain restaurant La Chüdera at a height of 2312 metres above sea level at the intermediate station of the Furtschellas area. This party is dedicated to our southern neighbours and named after the traditional drinking vessel of Ticino, which is called Boccalino.
Come and enjoy the typical way of life of Ticino in the middle of the enchanting summer mountain scenery. Surrounded by blooming meadows, mooing cows and babbling alpine streams you can hear the typical songs from a "Bandella" of Ticino in the mountain landscape which give the right musical touch to this event. It won’t only be a pleasure for your eyes and ears, but also for your sense of taste. Besides the specialities such as Minestrone, Polenta, Risotto and all the other tasty meals and the heavenly deserts a big wine and grappa selection of Ticino, the southern part of Switzerland, wait to be discovered by you.
No matter whether you decide to do a relaxing hike through the nearly untouched nature up to the intermediate station or whether you prefer the easy way by cable car, come and make a totally new mountain experience with southern life-style – a panoramic view of the Alps with southern sounds.
