The Kuhstall "the Gourmet stall of fame" is a stylish place in a real and cosy cowshed. During the day Freddie and his team serve you tasty, good home meals from the "cucina della nonna", in the evening you can order selected menus.
The Kuhstall (13 Gault Millau points) has got a wonderful and quiet terrace for après-ski or for enjoying the sun and can be reached also on foot from the bottom station of Sils. The pleasant winter walk takes about 30 minutes. The path is also suited to go back to the valley by toboggan.
Torchlight & supporting program:
With pleasure we illuminate the KUHSTALL with torchlight. This guarantees a wonderful atmosphere if you take e.g. a welcome drink under the starry sky. The torchlight costs CHF 50.00.
In collaboration with different event organizations of the Engadine we also offer entire supporting programmes such as mini-olympics, building igloos or similar activities.
Did you know? With previous booking the Kuhstall is also open in the evening with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 55 persons! We are only open during the winter season (21st December 2013 – 21st April 2014) – in the summer time our cows need this place for themselves!
